I spent my last holiday in Barcelona. I go there every year because my aunt and my cousin live there and we have a very close relationship despite the distance. I love visiting Barcelona because there are a lot of beautiful buildings, fancy restaurants and incredible shops where you can buy almost anything!

The picture shows a woman on a beach. She’s sitting on the sand facing the sea, so I can’t see her face. She’s wearing a hat probably because it’s sunny, but she’s not wearing a swimsuit.Â
There are a few people, like 15 of them, swimming in the sea. Most of the people in the sea are not really swimming, they are surfing. However, the waves are not particularly big… maybe the surfers are beginners, I don’t know.
The beach must be famous for its waves then, because many people are surfing there. In the background, I can see two sailing boats. The woman must be enjoying the view because it’s a busy beach with people sailing and surfing.

I like both kinds of destinations… big cities offer more opportunities to have fun, like amusement parks, restaurants, shops… but they’re normally crowded. So I think I prefer small villages because they’re more charming and peaceful.
